MECHANICAL DRINKING MAN
1996
Powered by a 1970's vintage computer cooler, reversed to suck air, this machine is built to inhale water droplets. The motor driven arm repeatedly slaps the water in the tub, bringing small amounts of water to the mouth of the mechanical creature. Small amounts of water are sporadically pulled into a two-gallon, glass storage jar behind its head. The water in the jar swirls around violently from the force of the vacuum.
